I don’t know about anyone else but I tend to bounce around like a yo-yo because of the accuser. Sometimes I am brought very low by the internal accuser who never ceases to point out how I fall short. Of course these accusations are absolutely correct, of course I fall short, we all do. So once again, this morning I found myself overwhelmed by the enemy.
Once I got to work and was alone driving my truck my thoughts drifted to the Lord and I lifted my despondent heart up to Him within. Immediately the Spirit said, “What do you believe?”
Our Lord is so wonderful and changeless. Often we see him asking those who came to Him what they wanted Him to do for them.
Luke 18:41-43 New King James Version (NKJV)
41 saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”
42 Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
When I heard Him ask me today, “What do you believe?” I said, “Lord you know what I believe.” But He was insistent….”What do you believe!?”
So I began to lift up my faith confession out loud of W/who I am in Him and W/who He is in me. The anointing filled overflowed out of my spirit and saturated my thirsting soul as the well spring of truth flowed like a fountain from within.
Truly it is in knowing the truth that we are set free…..but the truth must make its way out of our mouth as well. What God has done for you and me is so incredibly amazing! It must be spoken or preached to ourselves every day. Christ in us the hope of glory.
Jesus said to the man above, your faith has made you well or whole. Faith is not just believing in the heart but also speaking what we believe…and in the speaking we receive what we say.
All believers are complete and perfect in Jesus…but unless they say that about themselves it does not release the energeo of God in their souls. The spirit is perfect , the soul is being made perfect through our receiving of the ingrafted Word who is Jesus Himself.
Daily we receive Him as us in all our humanity, putting Jesus on as a garment, saying what He says about us, this is the way of Victory….the Victory already complete in us. Just believe….and in believing SPEAK Him….Speak Christ Jesus as your only life….speak you in him and He in you….rest in His perfection even as He rests in you, His perfect dwelling place.
